where is the snail?

  

Svetlana who is married with italian man,one of my classmates in Italian class gave me two head of salad from her own vegetable garden.

Next day, I found a snail on the table in my kitchen.  The snail was approaching to a tomato that I  bought in the market.  For keeping snail away , I transferred it to the plants where I grow outside. One day later,I saw the snail removing to another plant and staying below the flowers. In the past days, when I arrived in kitchen, it was very fascinating to have a look where the snail was.  

Unfortunately, this evening, it was gone. I couldn't see the snail.  After I had searched around, I noticed the area of plants (which) was very messy with bird's residue. Obviously,snail is a prey for those pigeon around my apartment. The reality makes me disappointed,but I am also surprised that the sight of pigeon is so sharp. How does pigeon know that little snail is hanging on a little plant ? What a wonderful world.
